
The Recruitment Task Force (RTF) is a recruitment and retention committee set up by the Albany County Fire Coordinator's Office, the Albany County Sheriff's Department and the Albany County Legislature. It exists to support all of the Volunteer Fire and EMS agencies in Albany County; By gaining new, and keeping current volunteer members, Albany County's Volunteer Fire and EMS services will remain strong. The RTF meets at 7 pm on the third Tuesday evening of each month. For meeting location information, please subscribe to the RandRcom email list. See below for instructions on joining the list. In the past meetings have been held at the Urban Technical Search and Rescue Team (UTSAR) Building on Albany Street in Colonie. UTSAR is about 1 mile east of State Route 155, on the north side of Albany Street. If this changes, notification will be made via email. Please see "And finally," below if you are not a part of the email group. All recruitment officers, membership directors, or any agency-designated personnel are encouraged to attend. The committee / task force and its meetings are open to everyone and every idea. Please attend our next meeting, we need your help and support.
